Christmas tree ūü饬†craft

Hey readers,

Looking for something fun but easy then look no further as I bring you popsicle christmas trees, perfect to do during the Christmas festival.

What you will need:

popsicles

pva glue

glitter

sequels

string

How to make it

1) Glue the ends of the popsicles together then stick them together in the shape of a tree.

2) Then add your glitter and sequins. At this point I found some stick on stars to put on top of the trees.

3) I then put the trees in the oven for the afternoon set at 45c, that allowed plenty of time to dry.

4) Next I put punch hole on the top and then threaded some string through, tied it into a not.

5) Voila there you have a tree decoration to hang on the tree.

Christmas decoration wishlist 2017

Hey readers,

As we are in the festive period, you can not miss Christmas decor everywhere at the moment, I thought I would comply a wishlist of some of the beautiful products on and offline at the moment, that tickle my fancy, enjoy!

chrsitmas decorations

1. Tesco Р£9.99

This is a christmas water filled LED snowman lantern. What I like about it is a bit different and something the boys would enjoy.

2. Wilko Р£25.00

This item is a six foot indoor colour changing twig christmas tree. I have a soft spot for low lighting sensory items due to my autism. I have seen this set up and it is really beautiful and subtle the pastel colours.

3. Debenhams (Sass & Belle) Р£17.00

I love quirkiness and something a bit unusual, so feast your eyes on this beauty, a white polar bear head. To be fair mind it is not massive so won’t be too overpowering in a room but still out some character.

4. H & M Р£6.99

Bring some festive cheer to your sofa or bed with this lovely stag cushion. I like it because it is not to daring and think the design is really beautiful.

5. Matalan Р£12.00

I love Christmas Nutcrackers, I just think a bit traditional and cute.

What I like about Christmas

Hey readers,

Can you actually believe that we are in DECEMBER, its true! Let’s get in the festive spirit and things Christmas related.

On the big day you can eat your body weight in calories and drink the booze until your sozzled on the sofa.

Kids are not allowed to stay they are bored. because how can they be bored with that amount of new s**t!

Normally tat is frowned upon, but the brighter and more daring the decoration the better Christmas vibe it brings!

Xmas, Christmas, New Year, Holiday

Finally something half decent is on TV and I am not even talking about Netflix, I am just talking about the ‘normal’ channels.

All the stand up DVD’S come out!

There is nothing more beautiful than having candles on and watching the twinkly lights in the evening.

Now I have children I have an excuse to read the Beano and feel the love once more.

Background, Christmas

Roast potatoes lavished with goose fat, why?… ermmm because it is christmas and I can do what I like and no one will bat an eyelid!

Christmas toilet roll, can you get anymore festive.

I find it really therapeutic wrapping presents, especially when I have the radio on in the background and a good old alcoholic drink in my hand, really helps me get in the mood for Christmas.

Having family of my own to share it with, at one point in my life I had no one. So, I feel truly blessed to be able people that I can call my own and celebrate with.

Using Father Christmas as a threat to keep your little ones in order I am going miss when it is over.

Santa, Polar Bear, Christmas, Snow

Seeing the magic in your kids eyes and that lovely innocent excitement on Christmas Eve.

Having snuggles with the boys on the sofa Christmas eve and watching Channel four special film they do every year (seems to be a tradition in our household).

Inspirational Christmas Gift Guide 2017

Hey readers,

I am going to say the C word as Christmas is just around corner and if you love find some inspiration for presents then look no further then in this post. I have a mixed bag of items which is a bit like me.  So let me begin with:

Bakerdays personalised Cake

I received a letterbox christmas cake by Bakerdays through the letterbox, and it really did fit through it. I opened and it was perfect, no problems and sealed. I love this concept as you can order online. Delivery there is 3 day slot which is free or alternatively there is next day delivery if you are in a rush and need it fast (£5.99 within a two day prior order of cake). You can also order and deliver to someone as a surprise. There are several different types of occasions such as birthdays, christian, Eid. So, there really is something for everyone.

I like the presentation of the cake in a tin and sealed. It comes with a cracker and a lovely card, which is a lovely touch to the cake.

The cake itself is actually good and moist, the vanilla flavour was lovely. My sons loved it as it didn’t have cream based filling and normally they are quite fussy about cake.

I chose a cat picture – though there are several different designs to chose from along with my personalised text, as you can see in the picture below.

There are also different size cakes to choose from and also dairy free. There several different flavours you can choose from (chocolate, vanilla, lemon drizzle etc).

The cake prices are down to the size of the cake. They start from £14.99 to £57.99.

I definitely recommend this cake as a perfect alternative idea for Christmas present or simply for yourself for Christmas.

I also did a unboxing over at my YouTube channel if you are interested, you can find the video here.

Box Head Craft game for children

This idea of a¬†Box Head Craft is basically¬† a box with squares where you can colour in and fun being creative. The idea is help encourage children to step away from technology and use other ways to keep themselves entertained. The product itself is a cardboard box with cubes on it and can fit onto a child’s head safely. It is a fun way to get children to use their imagination.¬† ¬†There are options where you can order for playdates (two boxes) and even design your own t-shirt. Another idea would be used for a party and this would be quite a calm idea when everyone is buzzing, it can help create calmness I would imagine.

My son who has autistic tendencies really helped calm him down when he was getting overworked when at home. It is a great therapeutic tool to have if  you also have a child with additional needs.

The box it’s self cost ¬£8.00 and comes with free delivery.

Personalised Santa Letter and Certificate.

Of course a perfect present just before Christmas are these lovely Personalised Santa letter and certificate.¬†They have beautiful paper and a certificate to keep. The boys loved them and because they were¬† felt really happy because they believed that Santa had watched them. This is so much easier then the Elf on The Shelf as you just have to point them to the letter and tell them Santa is watching, naughty mummy ūüėČ

They are delivered to you inside a brown envelope and the letters are enclosed in a white envelope with pretty colours around the edging as you can see. It is also addressed to the child, making it more realistic.

The letters themselves cost £5.99 and come with free shipping, I think it is lovely touch to add festive cheer to your hou

sehold.

I hope you have enjoyed my guide, whatever you do I hope you have fun with the lead u to Christmas.
