Why running rocks!

Hey readers,

Recently I returned to running and got hit again by the running bug, I just love and let me tell you why!

Because running gets you out of the house and you get some fresh air.

running 3

If your like me, I get quite frustrated with my inadequacies as a person and since I have started running have found running really great to just burn off them feelings.

It is good for you physical health, I only do running three times a week but I still find it beneficial in helping me ton up my legs and help strength my arms (as I am on medication where one of the side effects causes me great deal of physical pain).

You feel like you have achieved something positive and can make you feel better for it.

It is really fantastic to help you sleep if you do in the evening or alternatively, if you do it first thing in the morning it can set you up for the day.

running 2

You build up stamina which is always handy if you have young children and they want you to run after them in the park.

I had a break from running for a few weeks and definitely missed it. Once I stsrted again with running I found it made me much happier in myself and like I achieved something.

Obiviously, a bonus reason for running is it burns of calerioes which who can not deny is wonderful.

If you have children it sets an example regarding doing exercise and a positive message of seeing it occur.

You never fully appreciate a shower until after a hot sweaty run.

It is free, you can do it practically any where and at any time if you wish.

running 1

There are so many free apps like c25k to help beginnings that are a great guide to help you know where to start. If you are really confident then there is an event called parkrun (again free) where you run with others and such buzz, plus the feeling of being part of the running community.

As a parent you sometimes lose yourself, so it is good to do something for yourself, a bit of ‘me time’ where it is an activity solely for you to enjoy and get something out of.

Gadgets I would love to buy

Hey readers,

I love a gadget and over the recent weeks I have found some cracking good gadgets that if money were no object I would buy and enjoy at my own pleasure. Here is the kind of gadgets I like.

Firstly, my faviouritist gadget is the Roomba, which basically is a robotic vacuum cleaner. How amazing is this for us parents who have sadly got to be constantly hoovering after children. This is the perfect solution.Obviously, I would never get it just to watch my cat on it ūüėČ

Recently, I have been loving drone YouTube videos, which are amazing ways to get great area views of a location. So therefore next on the list would be a drone.

3D scanner just blow my mind away, wow, how amazing is the detail of the work used by the scanner. This would be totally fun and would be fun to watch my boys mesmerised to see the scanner in action.

I so desperately love a GoPro, again you can capture great content for YouTube and such a fun way to get creative.

Elephas Portable LED Pico Projector is such a cool way to project videos or whatever from your smart phone on to the telly.

A curved TV would be amazing to view TV in a much interesting format with 4K viewing making the display more clearer and detailed. but not entirely sure I would want to see Bruce Forsyth that close up ūüėČ

Panasonic Lumix GX7 camera as it would be brilliant for my blogging and it has a flip screen so you can see what is happening. It also has top reviews so it is a good ‘un in my eyes.

Obviously, I would love the latest Sony Xperia XZ Premium phone as I have currently got that brand and I have used several  and know especially with my clumsiness that it is good one for my needs. This model is also have these features, motion eye camera, water resistant and 4K HDR display which is pretty much wow!

Dress Wishlist

Hey readers,

Today I am lustering after the dresses, especially as one day it might get warmer for a day (we can all hope!). So, having a gander on line I have come across some beautiful dresses that are practical and cosy for a mum, in my book anyway!

dress-collage

1) Gotta love a bit of check and for once it is in the pattern on a dress as normally check I find on a shirt. The dress is  from Matalan (£18.00).

2) This lovely and comfort black and white stripped t-shirt dress from Simply Be (£25.00) and it has pockets which are fab for a parent like myself.

3) For something a bit feminine check out this gorgeous black print tea dress from Simply Be (£25.00).

4) Asos knitted dress with cut out detail and ribbed sleeves that gives you that modern feel (£30.00)

5) For a wild time check this Asos Curve T-Shirt Dress with lace Inserts in Leopard Print (£30.00). What I like is one the colour but secondly that it is not too loud in colour.

6) I am in love with this colour on this dress. It is like a deep red with frill front brushed dress from Matalan (£15.00).

Hope you found some inspiration,

10 things I can not live without

Hey readers,

Today I am going about the things that I can not live without and help me keep my shit together.

Firstly, paracetamol because I suffer from frequent headaches (thanks mum) and they can be really crippling which is most inconvenient especially looking after children.

Heated blanket is the best invention ever, especially during the colder periods. Honestly, there is nothing better then getting into a  warm, cosy and snug bed.

Music can make you feel less alone. I mean I don’t get lonely in the traditional sense but to feel words and know someone else is also out in the world and feels the way you do can make you feel less isolated. Alternatively, I just love a good beat to wiggle around in the kitchen cooking tea.

music

My blog as it has saved me when I went through a depressing period and heartache. It saved my sanity and it really helped me to focus and forget about the other noise in my head.

YouTube I love you so much, albeit not as much nowadays (sodding adverts) but sill amazing the stuff you can find and great way to cure boredom.

Lip balm – particularly during the colder months, my lips get so dry and peely. I find Boots one really good as it also has a tinted moisture to it.

Tea makes my heart go boom, boom, boom. I can literally drink buckets of the stuff and it makes any problem manage with a cup of Rosie Lee in my hand.

Books are my saviour and help me escape. Nothing beats a good thriller to lose yourself in.

library

Pad and pen because I have so many ideas swirling in my head that I get so overwhelmed. Therefore,  writing down them ideas on paper helps me think clearer and identify with where I need to go and what I am doing.

Phone – I know third world problems but it is a lifesaver and such a useful tool. You can play music, send emails even write blog posts when your bored at the bus stop in the cold. I heart technology and no I am not ashamed about it but celebrate it ūüôā
