Today I bring you a home decor wish list of all the loveliness of all things home decor related from the Uncommon Goods website.
A little bit about the company itself – Uncommon Goods was founded in 1999 and headquartered in Brooklyn, New York, Uncommon Goods is a privately-owned retailer that endeavors to feature unique jewelry, designer décor, tabletop items, and handcrafted gifts created in harmony with the environment without harm to animals or people. So that is why you should definitely check out on this page wide range of home decor to chose from.
Uncommon Goods has been rewarded for outstanding customer service from BizRate every year since 2007. In 2015, Uncommon Goods achieved the BizRate Platinum Circle of Excellence award.
the website appeals to me greatly as it has amazing unique and quirky ideas that you don’t really find on your high street. If your looking for something a little bit different then Uncommon Goods is the place to go.
I have hand picked six items that I love in the home decor range and if I had the money/older children then these are the types of products that I would definitely go for.
Firstly, how amazing is this first item, it is cool display of the toilet paper and fantastic storage, which in a small space is such fab idea.
I have never seen anything like this next item which is a sea swirl candle dome (2). It is absolutely stunning and really great a stunning ambience when your in need of time to relax.
I know my husband and children would love this kinetic gear holder (3). It is so fun to bring a playful element into your home.
The deep sea sand art (4) is such a calming feel to it and would bright an element of nature in your home decor. I could image me just sitting there watching the sand transform into different patterns.
How quirky and humours is this doormat (5), it is going to make any visitor that calls at your door to smile . Check out more home decor items on this page – http://www.uncommongoods.com/home-garden/home-decor/mats-rugs.
One of the factors what influences me in choosing an item for the home is it being environmentally friendly. Well look no further then this wonderful idea and that this recycled glass rainbow wind-chime (6). It such a clever way to recycle items that may end up wasted. There are other similar stuff that you can find if you visit at Uncommon Goods.

Recently I returned to running and got hit again by the running bug, I just love and let me tell you why!
Because running gets you out of the house and you get some fresh air.
If your like me, I get quite frustrated with my inadequacies as a person and since I have started running have found running really great to just burn off them feelings.
It is good for you physical health, I only do running three times a week but I still find it beneficial in helping me ton up my legs and help strength my arms (as I am on medication where one of the side effects causes me great deal of physical pain).
You feel like you have achieved something positive and can make you feel better for it.
It is really fantastic to help you sleep if you do in the evening or alternatively, if you do it first thing in the morning it can set you up for the day.
You build up stamina which is always handy if you have young children and they want you to run after them in the park.
I had a break from running for a few weeks and definitely missed it. Once I stsrted again with running I found it made me much happier in myself and like I achieved something.
Obiviously, a bonus reason for running is it burns of calerioes which who can not deny is wonderful.
If you have children it sets an example regarding doing exercise and a positive message of seeing it occur.
You never fully appreciate a shower until after a hot sweaty run.
It is free, you can do it practically any where and at any time if you wish.
There are so many free apps like c25k to help beginnings that are a great guide to help you know where to start. If you are really confident then there is an event called parkrun (again free) where you run with others and such buzz, plus the feeling of being part of the running community.
As a parent you sometimes lose yourself, so it is good to do something for yourself, a bit of ‘me time’ where it is an activity solely for you to enjoy and get something out of.

Watch out girls then is a returning trend that is coming this summer – underbun! If you have not heard of an underbun it is basically where you have such short shorts that your bottom slips out. Now I don’t care about flesh sharing but sometimes girls can show far too much for the eyes to see.
Nude leggings are just a no no for me, sorry. They are not attractive and tell everyone the truth, no one wants to see them stretched over your backside, unless your stick thin it is revolting. They are also in a disgusting colour and they just not flattering at all, if you own a pair do us all a favour and bin them!
What is it with glitter in your roots, seriously it looks like someone has sneezed on your head or you have a really bad case of coloured dandruff. Whoever thought this was cool, it is not, so please just die off!
A recent trend that is growing in popularity is fur slides. To me they look like something that resembles a middle class lady of leisure that struts about in her silk dressing gown. They just look cheap and tacky, seriously if Rihanna fell of the cliff would everyone else jump off too?! I am glad I am so old that I just don’t care anymore (not that did when I was younger) to care about being hip and fashionable.
Tracksuit bottoms with the word juicy plastered on the bottom, just looks awful. I thought they had there day but they seem to be reappearing in my local area, please just stop, I don’t want to be forced to look at your bottom.
Fake tan just looks horrific, streaky and unnatural. Why do this, it is just not right, are they blind, do women not see this. Ok, some can get it right but a majority go overboard or can not blend it in correctly causing it to have that lovely streaky marking. I have done it once myself, never again. I looked like the angry orange and wasted money when I could of just brought a bar of chocolate and have been happy as Larry.
Is there trends that you wish to fizzle out promto?

I thought today I would share with you my five top lessons that I have learnt so far in my life.
My first lesson is that there is more good then there is bad in the world. Sometimes we can all get sucked into the doom and the gloom of bad news that we can forget that there is so many good people in this world. I think the below quote is spot on and something that we should all try and remember.
My second lesson I have learnt is that sods law will always kick your ass every single time. When you think you know what will happen in life then you can guarantee that something will pull that your feet at that moment in time. I suppose a classic example would be where is that bus when I am running late when normally it is bang on time!
As an anxiety suffer you believe every thought and feeling at that given time. You feel like you are stuck and things will never change. So my third lesson would be that the feeling will pass. I try to focus on this thought when hard times hit and life seems scary!
My four lesson would be that you can take it or leave it when it comes to your thoughts because at the end of the day they is just all they are and only come from YOUR brain. No one stuck have that choice to whether you act upon them or not.
The final lesson that I have learnt in my life is and one of the best cures for stressful situations is to have a cup of tea and toast as it is the best way to solves problems. So, if I need time to think this is the one stop solution to give me a chance to think clearer.
What lessons have you learnt in life? What do you think of mine?

I have been doing my blog for nearly two years at the end of this month. One of the best pieces of advice I can give you to help with your blog is to make sure you add pictures to your posts.
Why you ask? well let me tell you…. for a start it is easy, simple and effective technique applied to a blog post.
When using images in blog posts they help break up the text so it is much easier for the reader to read.
Added pictures makes it more visually appealing, giving more colour. It can also help encourage the reader to continue to reading the blog post to the end, which is always a bonus.
As the internet is predominately visual based, we are all used to seeing pictures on social media, so, if we see pictures on blogs it is more friendly orientated and it can help capture a reader to want to read your post.
Pictures can help enhance the message that we want to get across to the reader and they leave a lasting impression.
Images can help give your post the chance to be more memorable for the reader, so they can have an influence the reader who may want to come back .
Pictures in blogs can help be another way to enhance the changes of someone catches your post through a search via the search engine.
If you are using a graph is is a brilliant way to illustrate a point to the reader.
If you don’t feel confident in using your own pictures then there alternative options such as royalty free or stock images to use so you don’t worry whether the picture is good enough.
Added pictures to a blog post can be a way to make your post more personalised.
What are your views on pictures? Is it something that you agree on? Love to hear your thoughts!

Have you remembered to forward your clocks? Isn’t it wonderful to get lighter evenings now and I am happy for this change, let me tell you why?
I suppose the first obvious reason why daylight saving time is good because it is lighter evenings and lovely to see the beautiful sunsets you get during summer time.
It is lovely to have more motivation as there is more light, which means getting more things doing.
Having more time to see things in the evening if I am out and about.
I really enjoy the calm of the lighter evenings, especially if it is dry and you can go for a lovely evening stroll.
Better change (if dry) to eat Al fresco, especially if it is a picnic at the park, makes my boys in particular super happy.
For a parent the dream of having a quicker time to get the washing dry, meaning more loads completed in a smaller time is the dream!
That being said you don’t need to live your home if you have some open space, a lot more quitter for us parents and the boys play together outside without getting under your feet. Which is always an added bonus 😉
I find that if my boys are out playing in the fresh air later in the evening they sleep better during the night-time.
You feel happier when it is lighter and less likely to want to stay in watch TV, maybe because you are more energetic.
Have more desire to get out of the house and less sluggish.
During the light times the golden hour is a beautiful time to take attractive photos.
With the lighter mornings you’re more motivated to get up and not need as much sleep during the lighter months.
What things do you like about Daylight Saving Time?
