why being a woman sucks!

Hey readers,

Sometimes being a female can be lovely but other times it can totally suck. Let me tell you the things that I hate as a women.

I suppose the most obvious one is periods, which occur typically once a month where your emotions are all over the place and if that is not bad enough, you have blood for five to seven days leaking out of your vagina.

U by Kotex Brand shocked facepalm smh period GIF

A pain is having to wear bras and dealing with twisted straps, it is so frustrating.

The size of female clothing is ridiculous and varies from one shop to the next. Men have it is so much easier because they have a certain measurement that fits where as different sizes occur in women’s fashion, grrrrrr.

Feeling that if you have too many emotions going on then your not taking serious to the point where people deem you as being a drama queen.

sad no baby crying emotions GIF

Pressures of being thin and trying to be this perfect ideal is horrible and you feel crap most of the time because I am so fucking fat.

You can’t pee anywhere, you have to find a suitable place to sit. I am so jealous of men that can piss anywhere including a bottle.

This expectation that us females are good at cooking, talking and all the other crappy stereotypes, not round here mate.

The pain of having to frequently  shave your legs in the summer if you want to wear a skirt.

If you chose to wear miscara are or eye make up and restraining yourself from rubbing your eyes or else you end up looking like Alice Cooper’s sister.

This idea that females are meant to be good at communicating and that we all love small talk. Well I don’t and I am suitable shit at, not to mention saying things at the wrong time.

Flats shoes are winners

Hey readers,

I love flats any day over the week and much prefer them to the hell that is high heels. Here are some reasons why flat shoes are winners.

flat-2

Firstly, you can wear flat shoes for long periods of time and unlike high heels not have to endure massive pain walking in heels.

Flat shoes don’t have to be boring, they can actually be just as pretty as some heel shoes.

Nothing feels as good as feeling confident and when better then in flats.
Flats don’t feel overpowering compared to high heels. They are not flashy but practical and comfortable.

flat-shoes-3

Flats are so god dame comfortable which really makes a different to how you feel.

One of the major benefits with flat shoes is you can actually walk in them, on cobble floors or even run after the bus, you couldn’t do that in a heel I tell you!

One attractive feature of a flat shoe is that it does not come with a high price tag with them, which makes flat shoes a hell of a lot more attractive in my eyes.

You don’t have to suffer with flat shoes like you do with heels. With heels your toes tend to be scrunched up or any sort of pain in your feet when wearing flats, they are just pure joy to wear.

flat-1

Flat shoes are so versatile with clothing and compliment many different outfits.

I find that I get more wear out of flats as I am more likely to wear those more then special occasions, therefore feel getting more money out of flat shoes.

Most of all you don’t get the pre-dread you experience with heels as you know your feet are going to be happy and you are comfortable which has to be the best reason ever for why flat shoes beat high heels.

Dress Wishlist

Hey readers,

Today I am lustering after the dresses, especially as one day it might get warmer for a day (we can all hope!). So, having a gander on line I have come across some beautiful dresses that are practical and cosy for a mum, in my book anyway!

dress-collage

1) Gotta love a bit of check and for once it is in the pattern on a dress as normally check I find on a shirt. The dress is  from Matalan (£18.00).

2) This lovely and comfort black and white stripped t-shirt dress from Simply Be (£25.00) and it has pockets which are fab for a parent like myself.

3) For something a bit feminine check out this gorgeous black print tea dress from Simply Be (£25.00).

4) Asos knitted dress with cut out detail and ribbed sleeves that gives you that modern feel (£30.00)

5) For a wild time check this Asos Curve T-Shirt Dress with lace Inserts in Leopard Print (£30.00). What I like is one the colour but secondly that it is not too loud in colour.

6) I am in love with this colour on this dress. It is like a deep red with frill front brushed dress from Matalan (£15.00).

Hope you found some inspiration,

Autumn Jumper Wishlist

Hey readers,

To help with the cold weather during autumn I have created my wishlist of jumpers. There is so much choice out there to suit all tastes.  I love jumpers particularly this time of year to make me feel all warm and cosy.

Now I love a bargain and what better way to find one then a knocked down price on an item. We are now in November and what better time to grap a bargain when it is Black Friday (25th November).  If you can’t manage the queues then check Cyber Monday  when all the sales are happening online so you can pick up a bargain in the own comfort of your home (28th November).

  1. Karen Millen is one of favourite designers. I have chosen black laced statement jumper for £55.00.  I am loving a bit of lace for something alternative that I have not seen that type of design on the high street. It feels glamorous and feminine and ticks all the boxes for me.
  2. Lacoste navy blue long sleeve sweater. I love a quirky print but not too over the top. It is also fairly neutral so versatile with different looks. It is currently cost £95.99.
  3. Barbour orange Berkley sweatshirt for £38.00. I know berkley stripes are all the rage for the mums out there. What attracted me to it was the colour orange, not a classic colour for this season but really love the brightness of the item. Also how soft does it look, perfect for wearing on walks!
  4. Ted Baker black and white diamond jumper for £107.99. Ted Baker is someone who I really like because the designs are individual and this piece is no expectation. I love it beyond words. I love black and white and the two different patterns of the selves and body. This is the winning piece in this wishlist and if I could I would buy it now and wear it all the time!
  5. Of course I had to pick another Karen Millen with this black and white jumper for £89.99. It looks so snuggly and perfect for formal occasions and even to wear in the office at work.

Hope this has inspired you as much as it has made me.

I have gathered some wonderful dresses for plus size people like myself for the autumn that are a variety different styles that I would love (if I had the money I would buy them all 😉 ).

  1. Asos Curve tartan  shirt dress for £30.00. I do love tartan and I always associate the pattern with Autumn.
  2. Next (Fashion Union Curve) 2 in 1  dress for £28.00. I think there is something very appealing and feminine about a peter pan collar.
  3. Khaki sleeveless shirt dress for £29.99 from  Fashion World. Great for the variety of temperatures we get in the Autumn!
  4. Papaya Curve (Matalan) denim pinafore for £18.00.
  5. New look Curve blocked  coloured swing dress for £22.99.

Hope this has inspired.
