Winter Sweater Tag!.png

1. Favourite candle scent?

OOO what a good start to a question, so many good candle fragrances out there. I think I would have to go with the classic cinnamon and apple as we are in December, I bloody love that smell.

2. Coffee, tea, or hot chocolate?

I think it depends on the time day, obviously, in the morning I need all the caffeine to kick start my day, so it would have to be quaffee. Then during the day because I am a tea belly, I love it and it is comforting. Then followed by a lovely hot chocolate in the evening to settle down and get cosy on the sofa with a blanket, lovely jubbly!

3. What’s the best fall memory you have?

I like the light evenings before it gets dark and you just need to wear a jumper. I just like that feeling and the time of day.

4. Which make up trend do you prefer: dark lips or winged eyeliner?

I prefer eyeliner. I would paranoid wearing dark lips and everyone staring at me.

5. Best fragrance for fall?

Charlie – Red,   because I am classic like that and cheap too, lol. BTW my husband has Chanel aftershave, you can tell what kind of couple we are.

6. Favourite Thanksgiving food?

Anything carb based on comfort and enjoyment.

7. What is autumn weather like where you live?

It is raining, meh!

8. Most worn sweater?

My lovely purple one from TU. It feels comfy, it is roomy and I love the colour. What more can I say?

9. Must-have nail polish this fall?

Black like my soul 😉

10. Football games or jumping in leaf piles?

I thought about this and I actually don’t mind either but if I had to chose it would obviously be jumping in leaf piles just for the fun of it.

11. Skinny jeans or leggings?

Ew, don’t do skinny jeans because I am too fat and skinny jeans are too uncomfortable for me, thank you very much! Of course, that leaves me to the faithful legging that is uncomfortable, cheap and can wear instead of tights because I don’t always like wearing them because wearing tights are a pain in the bum, fact.

12. Combat boots or uggs?

It will have to be combat boots if I had to choose between the two. One I don’t have the money for Uggs and nor would I want to buy, they’re just not my bag really.

13. Is pumpkin spice worth the hype?

Not really, go with what you love and don’t be sheep because you want to be like everyone else. If you genuinely enjoy it then go forth and embrace it.

14. A favourite fall TV show?

Come Dine with Me. Best programme on telly! That and Have I Got News for You.

15. What song really gets you into the fall spirit?

It’s raining men by the Weather Girls.

Help yourself to the tag and enjoy answering.

SeramegYBala ceramic necklace review

Hey readers,

Today I am doing a review of SeramegYBala jewellery. If you have never heard of this name well let me tell more. SeramegYBala is a shop on the Etsy website who offer unique handmade ceramic jewellery and gifts. So, each one is crafted individually which gives it that special quality as it is not just simply from a machine and massed product.

I received my item super fast in the post and the piece of jewellery came in a lovely recycled cardboard box with the stamp of the business logo on it (see pictures below).

The item comes as described and it is lovely hand crafted made.

I love the simple design on a hexagon with spots, it adds character to my outfit. There may different designs. This would make a lovely present for Christmas. The piece is well made and sturdy. At the back, the necklace has a clasp so you can keep the jewellery secure around your neck. Giving you that peace of mind that is safe and you don’t have to worry about the necklace getting broken. The necklace its self isn’t heavy which I was thinking it might because of it being ceramic, however, once I tested it out it felt light. Another good thing about the ceramic material as someone who has sensitive skin it didn’t react and it was comfortable to wear off for several days without any irritation. The whole ceramic piece is smooth and no bits were sharp that could cut into your skin, therefore, making it much more comfortable to wear compared to other pieces from different places that have sharp bits that dig into your skin.

I like the design of the necklace with the spots and the subtle colour as it is can be worn with a variety of different colours and not have to worry about it clashing and not completing the outfit nicely.

The necklace can be worn for many different occasions so you can get a lot of use out of it.

This is an advertisement feature. I was given a piece of jewellery in exchange for a review. All opinions expressed are entirely my own.

Frustrating

Hey readers

My word of the week is:

I just had one of them weeks when things have been testing me and makes me think what is the whole point of it all really.

I went the other day to a place further a field from where I live so had to get the bus which is stressful for me in its self. When I get to the place this was on  a Wednesday morning post 9 am and oh my gosh the place was heaving full of oaps. I am not used to this environment so really struggled to navigate and manage the noise.  Typical I picked the busiest day of the week. Then I go do a bit shopping for odds and sods and then get to the till and find I have not got my bank card it is at home. I then panic at the to and have a panic attack. So that was frustrating because it took time to go there and come back.

The next thing that annoyed me was instructions and people making them clear meaning that was is expected is not being reached.

Anyway it’s half term holiday so we can have a jolly good rest from it all.

I hope you have had a good week.

Tracey’s Questions

1) Describe your ideal blogging collaboration, with who and why? Oh my gosh, this is something I have never even thought about……..I would love to collaborate with TU by Sainsbury’s. Why you ask because most of my clothing is TU and to be honest their clothes are amazing, they are soft, comfy and something that I would actually use.

2) If you were God and had to create a brand new animal what would it look like/act like? (this is the funny one). I would create a Tizzle Wizzle, it would be fuzzy, black and white and could take it’s head off and turn it around. haha. It would be batshit crazy and smash things up.

3) Name your top 5 songs? Ok… 1. Always by Bent. 2. She sells sanitary by The Cult. 3.  Close to me by The Cure. 4. Les Nuits by Nightmare on Wax. 5. Midnight in a perfect world by DJ Shadow.

4) What is your favorite and least favorite seasons and why? I think my least favorite season would be Summer because I don’t like being hot and sweaty. My favorite season is a toss-up between autumn and Spring, mild in weather and full of things to see and take photos off.

5) what is your favorite swear word(s)? cunt haha.

Here go my questions.

1) If you didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time?

2) What’s your favorite piece of clothing you own/owned?

3) If you had unlimited funds to build a house that you would live in for the rest of your life, what would the finished house be like?

4) What’s your favorite drink?

5) If you were put into solitary confinement for six months, what would you do to stay sane?

Thank you, Tracey, for nominating me. I can’t wait to see if any other nominees answer and play along.

Reasons to blog

Hey readers,

I have been blogging for over three years now and feel that some experience of this whole blogging malarky. If you have never blogged let me enlighten you as to why you should consider, as there are many positives attached to being a blogger.

Creativity.

Firstly, blogging can allow you to be creative. You don’t have to be a niche but if you want to that is cool because it will be your blog. Blogging can be about anything, it is diverse in the blogging world. You can literally write about anything from domestic abuse to reasons to eat baked beans. It is a great tool for creativity and a way to express yourself to the world.

Therapy.

When I started blogging it was a distraction as I was going through some personal trauma. Blogging also helped me write down my feelings and express myself. I have autism and really struggle with verbal and trying to work out how I feel. With blogging, I can take my time and ponder. Blogging has helped me express myself when I maybe wouldn’t have. Writing has helped me grow in confidence with working out how I feel and exploring reasons why I respond in the way that I do.

Spread awareness.

One positive about blogging is it can help raise awareness of a message you want to spread. Blog posts are fantastic as they are from the individual rather than an organisation. They are personal and tend to be raw, making it feel more real in a sense. Blogging is a platform to get your voice out there, anyone can read it and it isn’t edited like professionals and I think that is one of the best things about blogs is that they tend to be first-hand accounts. I have always loved when exploring topics to reach out to the first-hand account as it feels real, people have lived it and know what they are talking about.

You learn about yourself.

I think exploring yourself can be quite hard but when you write it allows you to think about things. It makes your analysis and sees things maybe you might not instantly think of. Over time I have learned more about me through blogging and expanding areas of myself when I write.

Built an engagement.

Now, I am no great communicator but I will say that it has helped me get engaged with people. You may stumble across people that in normal life you would never have the opportunity to meet. Some bloggers make long-term friendship and think that is beautiful that something positive can come out of blogging.

Opens up to opportunities.

Blogging opens up to opportunities such as reviewing items or attending events. I am not the most successful blogger in this aspect but reading a lot of blogs if you are good at the social side of things then there are many doors that can be opened.

Make money.

Now, I have made the odd bit of money here and there which is fab as it has helped me when I really needed it. Some people can make a career out of blogging which I think is such an amazing opportunity to do something that you love.

Better writer.

As I have been blogging for a long period of time I feel that it has helped me be a better writer. I can write more words and can express myself better, which is always a positive.
