#Aceforschool challenge

Hey readers,

We are now near the end of the first term and I as a parent have already had to deal with tricky stains from the lovely mud kitchen (an area full of mud and water) to art stains plentiful of them. Therefore I have to battle the challenge of trying to remove them tough old stains on the uniform.

Here are my tips on how to deal with a smooth school evening.

#ACEforschool challenge

First, of all establish a routine as it is important to lay down the rules. First thing is first when we get home is to make sure that the boys take off their school uniform and get changed into there play clothes.

I don’t know if it is just my kid in the fact that he needs reminding to have a drink. It is amazing to see the difference after they have had a drink and are much calmer. If I don’t remind my son he won’t have one. Luckily my youngest is the opposition but still it is good to keep on track of things.

Allow your children to have some fun and unwind. It took me a long time to not get stressed about homework and stuff. They actually perform much better when they are calm.

This is a mum task for me is to check the uniform for stains. It is amazing the array of different stuff that occurs on the uniform from paint to tomato ketchup they are there. My eldest also attend after-school clubs and one is netball, gardening and street dance. My son isn’t the sort to just sit still and he loves to get his hands dirty. Therefore school uniform has to be checked every day haha.

I tested out the ACE range that was sent to me from BritMums.

I used the stain remover spray to use instantly to hit them tough stains quickly and leave them in to soak.

After some time of soaking the clothing in the stain remover, I then put the garments into the washing machine with 100ml of the ACE for colours laundry fabric stain remover. I find sorting out the clothing soon as I can then it will reduce the stain.

The combination of the spray and fabric stain remover really worked well at erasing them tough stains. I am very impressed.

Making sure that there is time for homework is important because there is nothing worse than trying to do the homework on the morning of the due in date *ahem*.

Here is some detail of both the ACE products below.

Ace for colours helps make the laundry is a fabric stain remover that you can put on your laundry to help get rid of stains and eliminates odours. It keeps whites bright and colours shine.

Ace stain remover spray is a spray that you spray on the affected area of clothing and leave it to soak to help get rid of the stubborn stains. Perfect for school uniform which happens frequently when my boys come home with stains to show how much fun they have had at home.

  1. I am terrible with routine, somehow we muddle through with all the chaos of a teen, tween and little one. But we are usually searching for shoes or lost part of the uniform right before we need to leave! #thesatsesh
