Hey readers,

My word of the week is

because my youngest has started full days at school this week and to say he is tired after school is an understatement. I was ambitious one day this week and took him to the library after school thinking he might enjoy it. Turns out nothing but winching and eventually a full down meltdown, joy I certainly learned from that experience. He is defiantly not used to full days like he does now.

I have been to the dentist which I hate but I had to have a filling which sucks, but it is done now. My dentist is social as well when he has fingers in my mouth, why. I can’t answer him coherently.

I have been loving also the darker nights. It feels so much cosy to sit and wrap up with a throw.

I hope you have had a good week.

Cheers for reading X

  1. I’m sure your little one will adjust to being at school full time, it is hard at first. I always wonder why dentists insist on chatting when it’s obvious you can’t answer them. Glad that’s over for you x

  2. We’ve had the first full week of school here this week, although not yet on full time hours for my son in reception (they have a ridiculously long transition period in my opinion) and we’re dealing with that tiredness for sure. And adjustment for sure. I have also been enjoying the cosy evenings. A lovely weekend to you & your family.

  3. Ahh! I remember the tiredness when my girls started full days at school….They do get used to it eventually. My girls still get tired after school even now and we tend to have just lazy evenings once all the homework is done.
I am liking the darker nights too….It is nice to shut the curtains and get cosy x #WotW
