Why museums are important

Hey readers,

Today I want to talk about why museums are important. Well first of they tend to be free which means it is gives opportunity for everyone to access and explore history and culture with the world around us. It doesn’t matter on your background, race. gender or financial the museum is open for all to access if they so desire.

Looking at the display

It is a great place to take the children especially, like myself who does not have loads of money. It is a good way to education a child and to learn through visual ideas and artifacts found in the museum.

They offer free events which is a great way to connect within the community. It allows you to appreciate the different types of expression people can do. It allows you to explore freely with like minded people who also enjoy art.

Children enjoy learning about history and how different peoples lives are or how they used to live. It is an alternative way to learn and it allows a fun way to communicate with children and grasp the complexates of people.

Often the free activities available at the museum can help inspire children to express themselves and get creative. It is a safe place where they won’t be judged and encouraged to do as they wish and with what t hey feel comfortable doing. Children can learn different forms of art and can get excited with the information they have learnt meaning they can expand further when at home or school.

It is a Breathe of fresh air to go to place like the museum that it is not just based on modern information but alternative ideas of thinking.

Museums are a place to remember the past and celebrate the achievements of others have done and created history for it.

Thinking about the important of the museum for a society then there are financial benefits of having museums in places because they can help boast the economy. They provide reasons for other people that don’t live in the area to come and explore the museum.

Also, if you have some money you can be tempted to check out the local shop or go for something to eat and drink therefore putting.money back into the economy. Therefore keeping the attraction open for all to explore and have the opportunity.

Do you enjoy going to a museum?

Cheers for reading X

  1. I think museums are a great way for kids to learn and so many are pretty interactive which is great and better than being dragged round them as a kid with loads to read, which as a child is boring, especially if you’re at the age of not being able to read much! #familyfun x

  2. I agree that musems are important and the ones with a free admission are even better, I live in a town with a smallish museum, we were regular visitors when I was working as a registered child minder #anythinggoes@_karendennis

  3. I love taking my kids to museums too. I prefer the ones with interactive activities as my children are relatively young, so it helps to engage them. I’ve not tried taking them to an art museum yet, so it’s on my list of things to do. My eldest recently did a school project where they had to create a picture in the style of a famous artist. She loved it, so I think she’d appreciate a visit to an art museum now. #FamilyFunLinky

  5. Museums are great and as you said, when they are free it makes it a much more affordable day out. We try to get to as many as we can! Great for a rainy day too – when we get them! 🙂 Thanks for sharing with #TriumphantTales

  6. I completely agree that museums are so important. I wish I could visit the ones in London more often. We took our kids to the Natural History Museum last month and some of it they loved and some they didn’t. But that is also the great thing about them, you don’t have to find it all interesting but you will always learn something no matter what your age. Thank you for joining #BigPinkLink

  7. I love a good museum especially the more interactive ones. Robert loves the transport museums that we’ve been too so far. They are so important to preserve information for future generations! ‪Thank you for linking up to the #familyfunlinky‬
